While many of the new Audi e-tron models look similar to their non-electric counterparts, there are a few touches that give them away. For starters, the front end features a textured grille, but very little opening when compared to gas-burning cars. In addition, models like the RS e-tron GT are lower and wider, as there is no need to worry about exhausts or oil pans hitting the ground. And with the new Audi SQ6 e-tron SUV and Sportback, Audi's flagship sport SUV now gets an EV variant to match its low-slung style.

Advanced digital dash capability and touchscreen interfaces make up the majority of your interactions with the cabin of Audi EVs. Still, you'll get the luxurious experience of power-adjustable seats, multi-zone climate control, and more with a new electric Audi.
Performance varies across the Audi e-tron lineup, but there is no doubt that even the baseline performance is above that of the standard Audi family of vehicles. From the 400-horsepower in the base Q4 e-tron to 637 horsepower in the RS e-tron GT, the electric Audi lineup means serious business. All of our new Audi e-tron models are designed with the latest charging infrastructure in mind. This means fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 25 minutes, and at-home charging solutions including Level 2 chargers. Range is excellent across the e-tron family as well, ranging from 250 to 300 miles depending on the model and battery pack you choose.
Each new Audi EV comes with a host of premium safety features. You'll get things like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection with each new Audi electric vehicle.
The Audi EV family of models offers a minimum of 249 miles in the Q4 e-tron and up to 300 miles in the Q8 Sportback e-tron.
Regenerative braking is the process of the vehicle recovering battery power while you slow down. It will turn forward momentum into electrical energy to recharge the batteries while you drive. It adds drag to the wheels, acting as a turbine that powers the battery to extend your range while you travel.
One-pedal driving allows you to use just the throttle pedal to both speed up and slow down. The system will use aggressive regenerative braking to slow you down without you having to use the brakes. Simply lifting off the throttle will active the regenerative braking system, slowing you to a stop automatically. It does take some getting used to, so feel free to try it on a test drive when you visit Audi Birmingham.
The Audi EV lineup comes standard with CCS charging capability, while adapters to fit NACS (Tesla Superchargers) options are available for more universal charging.
The price of in-home charging varies based on your home's electrical system and the location of the charger. Typical costs range from $799 - $1999. That said, we do offer financing for in-home charging, and we offer on-site public fast charging right here in Irondale.
