This past April was Audi’s best April sales result in the U.S., highlighting their 76th consecutive monthly record. The most recent milestone was set in 2016 when the brand sold 17,801 cars. However, it’s not just April that’s gaining momentum for Audi. The year has been productive from the jump. From January to April, its sales grew by eight percent to 64, 358 vehicles.

Audi saw strong demand across its SUV lineup. Sales climbed 18 percent over April 2016 and 19 percent year-to-date. The new Q5 had the most gains with 5,028 cars sold, and the Q7 had its second-best month on record with sales blossoming by 22 percent over 2016 to 3,022 cars.

“Customers are responding well to our new products,” said Mark Del Rosso, chief operating officer, Audi of America. “With the new Q5 in full force and the new A5, we have much cause to be optimistic that our product offensive will position us well for continued growth this year.”
