June sales numbers are in and they're not looking too shabby. Audi is reporting increased demand for the all-new Q5 SUV and A5 Sportback sedan along with a 5.3 percent jump in sales to 19,416 cars sold. It's also the third best sales month in the brand's U.S. history.
Q5 deliveries climbed to 4,498 units and rose by 17 percent for the year. Q7 sales grew by 19 percent over last June to 3,114 cars sold. Total Audi SUV sales came in at 9,353, and through the first half of the year, Audi SUV sales blossomed by 14 percent to 51,565.
Some vehicle deliveries more than doubled. The new A5 Coupe, Sportback, and Cabriolet ended the month with 2,374 cars sold. The A4 sedan sales increased by 7.9 percent for the month and 16 percent year-to-date. Audi sold 3,022 A4s and overall car sales grew by 3.8 percent to 10,063.
